Planned Litters

Seransil puppies are houseraised on a raw food diet following the Avidog and Puppy Culture models from health screened championship breeding stock.  

Breeding stock are tested by DNA for Degenerative Myopathy, Neonatal Encephalopathy with Seizures,  Von Willebrand Disease 1, Progressive Retinal Atrophy, Progressive Rod-Cone Degeneration, & Rod-Cone Dysplasia 4 through Paw Prints.  In addition testing by DNA through Better Bred for genetic diversity.  Hips, eyes, elbows are tested through OFA. Testing may be done for heart, thyroid, & SA as well.

Potential owners  are screened to select the best home for each of our puppies. In order to be put on our waiting list you must:

1) Complete the Puppy Questionnaire

2) Supply names of at least 3 references

3) Come for a visit or arrange a video conference

4) Once you are notified that a puppy could be available a deposit is required to confirm your placement on the waiting list for that particular litter.  Deposits are Non-refundable unless a minimum notice of one month prior to the estimated pick-up date is provided.  If a situation occurs where a puppy will not be available the deposit will be refunded or held for the next available litter.

5. At 7 weeeks of age the puppies will be evaluated and matched to their potential family.  

6. Prospective owners are invited to visit the puppies (subject to availability) after they are 4 weeks of age.

Your new puppy will be:

1. A minimum of 8 weeks of age with create and housetraining skills started

2. Health guaranteed to cover hereditary diseases such as Hip Displaysia, VonWillebrands Disease,  Eye Disease, Neonatal Encephalopathy with Seizures, Sebaceous Adenitis, Degenerative Myopathy, & Thyroid Disease, visible within the first 2 years.  As a breeder I wish I could guarantee that your puppy will live a long and healthy life, but there are many factors that I have no control over.

3. Registered with the Canadian Kennel Club.  

4. Microchipped for identification

5. Immunized with their first set of vaccinations at 8 weeks of age.  Guidelines for vaccination protocol will be provided.

6. Dewormed

7. Certified by a veterinarian to be in good health

8. Provided with recommendations regarding the timing of spaying or neutering procedures.

9 Provided with 6 weeks of free Pet Health Insurance with the option that the coverage may be continued.

10. Provided with a toy or blanket carrying the scent of the litter to assist in transition to their new family.

11. Provided with ongoing support from me, their FIRST MOM!!

NONBREEDING/BREEDING/CO-OWNERSHIPS TO BE DETERMINED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS
